I have worked with charities and not-for-profits since 2013. The people doing hard, useful work should not be priced out of the AI tools, training and risk support that larger organisations can buy.
Why this matters
AI should not widen the gap.
A second-class-technology-citizen world is already appearing. Well-funded teams get consultants, training, safe tools and risk assessments. Smaller mission-led groups get a few free accounts and the feeling that they are already behind.
Mission first
The point is not to chase shiny tools. The point is to give capable people more time for the work that matters.
